Ravioli, Holy Canoli...Google buys Zagat

In attempt to break into local markets Google buys Zagat for an undisclosed amount. The company heads will continue to stay at the helm of Zagat but the purchase will allow Zagat to move into other cities and allow Google to add reviews to restaurants and other businesses into google maps. This news is potentially huge for Google after their failed bid for Groupon and Yelp. In 2008 Zagat co-founders Tim and Nina Zagat tried to sell their company to no avail. This news seems huge not just for Google but the online world as a whole. For some reason, though, I can't seem to get that iconic SNL skit with Adam Sandler and Chris Farley out of my head.
